For the second year in a row Hidden Meadow is offering a horse care class! This class is designed to introduce people to the basics of horse care and is for the beginner or for someone getting back into horses! It is the perfect option for anyone interested in what it takes to care for horses. Please note, this is a non riding class. It is focused on horsemanship and horse care.

Class is held for six consecutive weeks. The tentative day/time is Wednesdays from 3 PM to 6 PM. Our course curriculum is based off of the U.S. Pony Club D manual. The instructor for this class is Felicia Fountain. Maximum number of students is six students. Open to anyone over the age of 12.

A bit about the instructor:

Felicia Fountain

Felicia is a graduate of Houghton College where she received her B.A. in communications with a minor in equestrian studies. While at college Felicia went through and was certified by the Certified Horseman’s Association (C.H.A). Felicia is also a Pony Club Alumni, an FFA Alumni, and a 4-H Alumni. If you are looking for someone who provides a well rounded course then we, at Hidden Meadow, can provide you with that! Felicia has taught for over 12 years and has over 20 years experience with horse ownership, care and management. Felicia also offers riding lessons and horse training.

Horse Care Class

Typically horse care class is $275 but we are offering it at a special price! $175. This includes the six week education and a special 30% discount off of one riding lesson package.
