Horse Care Classes

Everything you need to know about basic horse care! Weekly classes and practice! If you want to know more about horses and what they need to thrive then this class is for you! This is a six week course. total hours between classes and practice is 18 hours.

Advanced Horse Handling

Designed to help the average horse person learn a bit more about how to handle horses of various ages, abilities and temperaments! We want to make sure both horse and human are safe! We will go over in hand work like lunging, long lining and ground driving! We will also go over some in hand/ showmanship techniques. Advanced Horse Handling

Are you confident leading horses to and from the paddock but are uncertain about what to do if the horse spooks or tries to push you around? This is the class for you! We will work on lunging and ground training techniques to keep both horse and human safe! This is for (1) 2 hour lesson on an advanced horse handling technique/ skill.

Hidden Meadow Equestrian Center offers one day after school and school vacation horse & riding programs! We know how important it is for children to be outside. We want to help teach them about nature! We have several options and pricing information! See the below link for more information.

School Age Working Student Program:

Dependent on age and knowledge level of student. Great opportunity for pre-teens and teens to learn more about the ins and outs of daily horse care.
